Building Strong Schools, Empowering Our Future

Holly Hayes Neibaur has represented district 7 in Canyons School District for the past 4 years. She has a degree in secondary education and was a middle school teacher. She is a business owner in both Sandy and Draper.  Her favorite part about her business is guiding pre dental students through their application process to help them pursue their educational goals. Education and creating quality student life experiences is her greatest passion. She served on school community councils for 10 years. She believes quality public education is one of Utah’s greatest assets. Providing and protecting quality experiences in neighborhood schools is paramount for children’s success. She is passionate about supporting sports programs, arts, advanced learning opportunities, and special education in every building.

She was instrumental in creating the strategic plan for Canyons, field improvements and a field house at Corner Canyon, Jordan High, and promoting group projects, arts integration, collaboration, and less chrome book use in the classroom. She believes the classroom is a place to teach children how to think and not what to think and believes protecting family and community values is important. Curriculum and media consumption at school should be age appropriate and should not have political motives or agenda.
